A daily routine gives children a sense of security. This is why we ensure each day is properly structured while leaving enough time for spontaneous activities.

What's Involved
Free Choice Learning Through Play
The children enjoy activities such as
- Table top games and jigsaws, fine motor control activities such as pegs and boards linking toys and threading.
- Sensory play with water and sand.
- Role play with their friends in the home corner and role play areas
- Looking at books and sharing stories in the book area.
- Construction activities such as building with Lego, Duplo or bricks.
- Craft activities and drawing and painting.
Small Group Time
We do lots of activities to develop the three prime areas of learning these are Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language and Physical Development.
Rolling Snack
We have a range of healthy snacks such as fruit and vegetables with breadsticks and crackers, with water and milk to drink. We always have water available for the children throughout the day and they can bring in their own water bottle if they wish.
Class Group Time
We sing songs listen to a story and share home to Pre-school books.
Lunchtime
The children bring in a healthy packed lunch from home and eat this inside the classroom.
